Important 2026 Cheer Info

Important Information

All cheerleaders must complete 20 hours of mandatory conditioning per Pop Warner National. Cheerleaders will not be allowed to participate in regular team practices to learn game day cheers and competition routines until this requirement is met.

Conditioning is implemented for the cheerleader's safety and to ensure they are ready physically for the demands of the regular season. With a short timeline to prepare for the first game and competition conditioning will begin on July 15, 2025. Between 7/15 and 8/3 there will be several practices offered to allow cheerleaders to compete the first 12 hours of conditioning. The remaining 8 hours will completed 8/3-8/7 when team practices begin.

If for any reason you will not be able to attend a practice during the week of 8/3-8/7, please notify your head coach immediately and make arrangements to make up those hours during the July practices.

Practices:

Competitive cheer teams will practice Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday all season. July & August will be 6-8pm. Once school starts time will change to 6-7:30pm.

Gameday cheer will practice Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6-8pm from August 3rd until school starts. Once school starts, they'll practice Wednesday 6-7:30pm.

Attendance:

Each cheerleader plays an important role in their routines and when a cheerleader is not at practice, this impacts the whole team because stunts can't be practiced and important information is missed.

If your child is sick or must miss practice for any reason, please be sure to contact your head coach in advance so she can make any necessary adjustments to the practice plan for the day.

Additionally, at the end of August, cheer sideline season begins and cheerleaders will be expected to participate in their assigned football game each week. Games may be played either on Saturday or Sunday. The schedule will be shared as soon as it is available.
